Responsible Breeding
The Maine Coon is the oldest natural living cat breed in North America. This means that this beautiful breed originated without (deliberate) interference from humans. As a reputable breeder, my goal is to maintain the natural standard of this breed.
All of our Maine Coons are 100% Pure, Pedigreed and chosen delicately with a FIVE generation (minimum) pedigree evaluation. They are genetically tested with Optimal Selection or CatScan, clearing them of over 50 genetic health predispositions and assuring they have a healthy Heterozygosity percentage. All of our Kings and Queens are OFA Hip certified and Blue or odd eyes are BEAR certrified*. Our cattery is Feline Leukemia (FELV & FIV) and Tritrichomonas Foetus negative as we strive to breed healthy, powerful Maine Coons with a sweet and balanced character.
Healthy genes are a prerequisite for strong, healthy Maine Coons, but care and socialization are also important. We give our kittens, with dedication and joy, the loving environment that is needed to let their characters blossom in our warm, homely atmosphere as part of our family.
Health
The Maine Coon develops slowly and is not fully grown and developed until around 4 years old. All of our kittens are guaranteed to be free from congenital birth defects for a period of 1 years from date of birth and we provide an opportunity for one month of free pet medical insurance via Trupanion. Before adoption, all our kittens are examined by our veterinarian for a general health exam and will have been administered all deworming medications needed as well as FVRCP vaccinations required for his/her age. Your Maine Coon will also be micro-chipped and health records will be provided.
* BEAR certification: Brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER) is a test to measure the brain wave activity that occurs in response to sounds. All kittens that have blue eyes or odd eyes will also be tested before their adoption day. Results will be shared with the their adopting family withing 5 days of their test date,

Please note that the DNA of Victoria, Hathor and Aries wont be tested as they are 2nd generations of our cats above tested.

* ONLY official OFA certifications will be posted on our websites, preliminary certifications for kings and queens tested under the age of 24 months will be shared upon request.
Hathor & Aries will be tested only after 24 months as we have results for both parents in our cattery. (Hela & STORM)
